It is one of the first releases to use a new process that recovers raw materials through a chemical reaction. The resulting material can be used repeatedly, contributing to a plastic resource circulation system. It addresses waste streams that mechanical recycling cannot treat and reduces long-term reliance on fossil-based plastics. Pressing the discs requires neither natural gas nor steam, with energy savings of up to 85% compared to the traditional process of vinyl production. Additionally, PET use for Eco-Records can be recycled back into its initial raw materials. This approach helps reduce waste and supports a more sustainable, closed-loop circular economy.
PACKAGING: The Ocean Edition is made from 100% recycled plastic (recyclable polyethylene terephthalate -PET).
